India Association is a non profit socio-cultural organization recognized by the International relations club (IRC) at South Dakota State University. The purpose of the India Association is to provide an opportunity for all students, faculty and staff of Indian and foreign origin to interact and share the cultural heritage of India. Our primary goal is to provide a homely and diversified atmosphere for the students and families from India. We are concerned with promoting awareness about Indian tradition, cuisine, music, art and dance forms by conducting on special occasions. Functions organized by us, such as India Night reflect the cultural backdrops of our country at the same time creating a sense of Indian-ness far away from home.
