Indian Student Association Wayne State University
Indian Student
Association (ISA) is an organization formed by the student body of the
Wayne State University to bring the Indian Community in the WSU
together and to promote the Indian Culture and the diversity at and
outside the WSU through organizing various cultural and social events.
It provides an opportunity for the students of Indian and foreign
origin to share the joy of culture and heritage of India.
The most important feature of ISA is to help out new students to
get settled and be familiar to the new environment through various
activities starting from picking them up from airport to helping them
out in getting housing and other necessary requirements. It also
provides basic brief information about the life in United States
through a ‘new students’ orientation program’.
ISA not only helps the students in their initial phase in United
States, but also provides facilities and organizes various events in
view of providing internships and jobs to graduate and undergraduate
students.
